Nevada, a Sovereign State?
Violent Crimes Against Seniors- While talking with seniors of Elko County I discovered a different fear. Seniors that were once able to defend them selves were now more fragile and unable to do so. Seniors in our County are now afraid to walk down the streets at night for fear they would be potential victims and would not be able to defend themselves.
PLAN: We need to establish a Crime Prevention Unit, which will assist in educating seniors and the public on how to protect yourself and property. We will need to include Crime Prevention Unit in our bi-monthly meeting with each township and monthly meet with seniors at the centers of each township. They will coordinate this through the director of each facility.
