Involvement:
I currently chair the Elko County Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife and was just appointed to the Elko County Resource Advisory Board, I am the Public Safety Chair to the Elko Motorcycle Jamboree, past chairperson for the Northeastern Nevada Mothers Against Methamphetamine, Elko County USBC Association Board member and past Board member to the City of Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Municipal Golf course and past Board member to the City of Las Vegas Parks and Recreation.
I'm involved with the Police Protective Association, Sheriffs Protective Association, Injured Police Officers Association, Mothers against Drunk Drivers, International Asian Organized Crime Unit, Clandestine Laboratory Investigators Association for Methamphetamine, D.A.R.E., Child Seekers, the Lions Club International, Nevada Cancer Society, Relay for Life, Muscular Dystrophy Association, A Brotherhood Aimed toward Education A.B.A.T.E. , Motorcycle Riders Foundation, American Motorcycle Association, Southern Nevada Gang Task Force, National Rifle Association, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, past member of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) D.A.R.E. program.
I gave extensive training to officers, detectives and law enforcement supervisors throughout Nevada during my career including LVMPD Legislative Bill Drafting for the 1995 and 1997 Legislative Sessions. I instructed University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) students on youth gangs, violent crimes and narcotics with Judge F. Guzman, instructor "LVMPD" Youth Gangs in Nevada Police Officer Academy, instructor "LVMPD" Youth Gangs in Nevada Correction Officer Academy , instructor "LVMPD" Youth Gangs in Nevada Police Officer Academy, instructor "LVMPD" Youth Gangs in Nevada Nellis Air Force Base, instructor "LVMPD" Youth Gangs in Nevada Clark County School Police, instructor "LVMPD" Youth Gangs in Nevada Elko County Police Department, instructor "LVMPD" Narcotic Detection in Nevada Elko County Police Department, instructor Optimist International Club, instructor Southern Nevada Executive Council, and past member of the Rocky Mountain Information Network.
