Nevada, a Sovereign State?
Professional Law Enforcement Background:
Retired from the LVMPD (Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department) with 26 years of service. My job assignments ranged from field training of new officers and Detectives through investigations where I spent close to 18 years investigating violent crimes, gang and narcotic related crimes.
I was assigned to and oversaw multiple undercover operations and Federal Task Forces involving violent crimes, crimes against persons, crimes against property, gang related crimes, the manufacturing and sales of methamphetamine along with the Southern Nevada Gang Task Force investigating violent crimes, large-scale money laundering, heroin and cocaine sales.
I was also assigned to investigate and oversee gang related homicides. I was one of the first Nevada Detectives certified in Methamphetamine Clandestine Labs.
I finished my career assigned to the rural townships of Mt. Charleston, Cold Creek, Corn Creek and Indian Springs. I initiated programs in these communities such as Clean Program for Rural Areas, Child Seekers and Community Policing.
